    The mixes primarily come from dub pioneer Osbourne Ruddock, AKA King Tubby. The two discs of this set collect over 90 minutes of mostly unreleased, timeless reggae music from renowned Jamaican artists which represent the immediately recognizable sound of Channel one/5(4).

    DANCEHALL VIBES is a prime slice of DJ wickedness that should deservedly extend this under-recorded artist's reputation. The first bonus track on this double CD is Desmond Irie's DUB ONE, a conga led instrumental workout. The second has no connection to Channel One but will be of interest to all lovers of reggae.

    Repress of Rhythm & Sound’s (Basic Channel) release The Versions. Kings of dub techno Moritz von Oswald and Mark Ernestus compiled the singles they did for Burial Mix, separating the vocals and leaving these instrumentals to do what they do best, wash over you with warm heady bass.
